Semi-Qualified Audit Associates (Full-time)


This is an excellent opportunity for a semi-qualified person with an ambition to establish a career in finance.

Working with high levels of autonomy you will ensure processes are managed effectively whilst providing effective and efficient financial management services and support to a portfolio of accounting clients.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing reports, documentation and correspondence under the superior’s supervision;
  • Keeping up-to-date with latest accounting and auditing developments;
  • Consulting with superior on issues identified at audit stage and research these;
  • Identifying statutory and regulatory changes in the auditing sector;
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of the firm’s audit approach and the theory behind it;
  • Establishing close working relationship with client;
  • Maintaining regular contact with accounting staff during the assignment;
  • Independently completing small engagements and handling a small number of assignments at the same time;
  • Drafting audit planning brief for own assignments which address relevant issues; and

The ideal candidate will preferably have one- or two-year’s similar experience and has completed at least the equivalent of the foundation stage of ACCA.

The role calls for a highly organised and mature individual. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, the ability to multitask and work as part of a team, as well as knowledge of Sage 50 are considered desirable requirements for the role.
