GCB Malta Ltd unites a team of skilled and dedicated professionals providing management and accounting services, tax consultancy, and corporate and audit assurance. As we continue to expand our operations and enhance our service offerings, we are seeking to recruit:

Accounts Associate(Full-time)

Responsabilities:

1. Active role in day-to-day accounting, postings, reconciliations and ad-hoc assistance on a portfolio of accounting clients;
2. Support in general administrative duties such as filing, and preparing necessary forms both for corporate and accounting clients;
3. Working closely with audit seniors and support in vouching, preparing analytical ratios and audit file preparation;
4. Assisting in performing Statutory audits in accordance with International Standards of Auditing;
5. Communicate accounting and audit queries with clients;
6. Support with preparing VAT Returns, Management accounts and reconciliations;
7. Attend to clients’ premises to do the book-keeping of the client’s on their premises (if required)

Requirements:

1. Currently reading for an accounting degree;
2. Fluent in English language (both written and spoken);
3. Proficient in Microsoft office;
4. Experience in a similar accounting and corporate services role would be considered an asset;
5. Be able to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments;
6. Knowledge of Sage 50 would be considered an asset

Organisation and attention to detail are imperative.
